Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Securaitalent Ltd (“SecurAI Talent,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a recruitment firm dedicated to AI security, serving clients and candidates globally. We are the organization that determines how and why the personal data described in this Policy is processed. For purposes of data‑protection law we act as a Data Controller (EU/UK) and a Business (California and other U.S. state privacy laws) for most of the processing described here. In some situations we may act as a Processor / Service Provider when we handle personal data strictly on behalf of a client under contract.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, transfer, and otherwise process personal data relating to:

  • Candidates – job‑seekers, interim consultants, contractors, advisors, executives, and other professionals whose information we receive in connection with recruitment, talent mapping, or market intelligence services.
  • Client Contacts – employees, agents, hiring managers, procurement contacts, and decision‑makers at organizations that engage, may engage, or are evaluated by SecurAI Talent.
  • Website Visitors & Online Users – visitors to securaitalent.com, recipients of our marketing communications, webinar registrants, event participants, and users of any portals or talent platforms we operate.
  • Vendors & Partners – service providers, technology partners, background screening partners, payroll / benefits intermediaries, and others who help us deliver services.
  • Other Individuals – people whose data we receive from publicly available sources or from referrals.

3. Personal Data We Collect

3.1 Identification & Contact Data

Name, title, company, postal address, email address, telephone numbers, professional profile URLs, government identifiers where required for payroll/placement compliance (collected only where lawful and necessary).

3.2 Professional & Employment Data

CVs/resumés, employment history, skills, certifications, education, salary expectations, compensation history (where lawful), right‑to‑work status, references, interview feedback, and notes from conversations.

3.3 Assessment & Screening Data

Interview recordings, psychometric or technical assessments, background check results, and work eligibility documentation.

3.4 Marketing & Preference Data

Subscriptions, event registrations, content downloads, marketing preferences, cookie and tracking data.

3.5 Device / Technical Data

IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, referral URLs, pages viewed, and interaction logs gathered via cookies, pixels, or similar technologies.

4. How We Use Personal Data

We use personal data for the following purposes:

  • Candidate sourcing & talent mapping – Building talent networks and fulfilling client mandates
  • Recruitment process management – Screening, shortlisting, presenting candidates to clients
  • Background & compliance checks – Verification and due diligence where required
  • Communications & marketing – Insights, market reports, event invitations, and service updates
  • Analytics & service improvement – Improving database quality and enhancing technology features

5. Disclosures of Personal Data

We disclose personal data only as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:

  • Client Organizations – Candidate information shared with client hiring teams when appropriate
  • Vetted Service Providers – IT hosting, CRM platforms, background screening, skills testing, and other contractors
  • Professional Referees – With your consent or at your request for reference checks
  • Legal & Regulatory Authorities – Where required to comply with law or protect our rights

5.1 SMS & Text Messaging Data

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

6. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. These measures include access controls, encryption, secure hosting, vendor due diligence, incident response procedures, and employee training.

7. Your Privacy Rights

7.1 EU/EEA & UK Rights

Subject to legal limits, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data and receive a copy
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erase certain data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict processing
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent

7.2 California & Other U.S. State Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to:

  • Know/access the personal information collected about you
  • Delete personal information (subject to exemptions)
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of sale or sharing of personal information

7.3 UAE & Saudi Arabia Rights

If you are located in the United Arab Emirates (Federal Decree‑Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection) or the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Personal Data Protection Law, Royal Decree M/19), you may, subject to local legal limits, have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and obtain information on how it is processed
  • Correct inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated personal data
  • Request deletion or destruction of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent to processing, including for cross‑border transfers of your data outside the UAE or KSA
  • Restrict or object to certain processing of your personal data
  • Request a copy of your personal data in a usable, machine‑readable format

Important Legal Notice: These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites and related online touchpoints made available by Securaitalent Ltd (“SecurAI Talent,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using any of our Sites (defined below), you agree to be bound by these Terms and by the policies referenced in them, including our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use our Sites.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and SecurAI Talent when you: (a) browse, access, or use any SecurAI Talent website; (b) submit information (including a CV/resumé) through a web form, email link, or upload widget we provide; or (c) interact with content delivered under the securaitalent.com domain family (together, the “Sites”).

2. Scope: What Do These Terms Cover?

These Terms apply to:

  • The public marketing site available at or under securaitalent.com (including HTTP/HTTPS variants and country redirects).
  • Any web pages or landing pages we host for events, reports, or candidate intake that link to these Terms.
  • CV or profile submission forms we operate (even if embedded in a third‑party form tool) when the form references these Terms.

Not Covered: Client portals or platforms operated under separate contract; third‑party services you access via outbound links; or any offline agreements with SecurAI Talent unless those documents incorporate these Terms by reference.

3. Age & Eligibility

Our Sites are intended for professional and business use. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction if higher) to submit personal data to us. By using the Sites, you represent that you meet this age threshold and have the authority to provide any information you submit.

4. Your Submissions & User Content

You may submit CVs/resumés, professional profiles, cover letters, references, and other materials (collectively, “User Content”) through our Sites. By submitting User Content, you grant SecurAI Talent a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, store, reproduce, analyze, edit for formatting, and share that material with our recruitment consultants and relevant client organizations for the purpose of evaluating, contacting, and placing you (or the individual described in the submission) in current and future roles.

This license is:

  • Limited in purpose to recruitment, executive search, talent mapping, advisory projects, and related administrative functions
  • Revocable: You may withdraw or request deletion as permitted under applicable privacy laws
  • Sub‑licensable to our clients solely as needed to evaluate candidates for roles

5. Accuracy, Lawfulness & Prohibited Data

You are responsible for ensuring that all information you submit is:

  • Accurate and not misleading
  • Lawfully obtained (no unauthorized disclosure of confidential employer data, private health records, etc.)
  • Non‑infringing of privacy, IP, or contractual rights
  • Non‑discriminatory — please avoid including protected‑class details unless required or expressly requested

Please do not upload the following unless specifically requested and lawful: government ID scans, full financial account numbers, detailed health records, or information about minors.

6. Acceptable Use (What You May Not Do)

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the Sites
  • Use any data‑mining, scraping, bots, or similar data‑gathering tools without our express written permission
  • Upload malware, malicious scripts, or content that could harm systems or data
  • Post unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harassing material
  • Submit personal data of third parties without proper authority and lawful basis
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Use Site content to build or enhance a competing product or service

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Sites — text, graphics, logos, icons, images, reports, layouts, and underlying code — is owned by or licensed to SecurAI Talent and is protected by copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable license to access and view the Sites for lawful, informational, and recruitment‑related purposes.

8. Privacy & Cookies

Your use of the Sites is also subject to:

  • Privacy Policy (how we collect, use, and protect personal data), and
  • Cookie Policy (how we use cookies/trackers and how you control them)

If these Terms conflict with either policy in relation to personal data handling, the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy control for those data‑protection issues.

9. No Guarantee of Placement; No Professional Advice

Submitting a CV or communicating with SecurAI Talent does not guarantee that you will be contacted, interviewed, or placed in a role. Hiring decisions rest with client organizations. Content on our Sites is for general information only and is not legal, HR, tax, investment, or other professional advice. You should obtain advice from qualified professionals before relying on information for decisions.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Sites are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Sites will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Indirect damages excluded: SecurAI Talent will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages
  • Direct damages cap: Our aggregate liability to you for all claims will not exceed £100 GBP

These limitations do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non‑contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date below and post the updated Terms on the Sites. If the changes are material, we may provide additional notice. Continued use of the Sites after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
